The PLANO carpet collection is an architectural interpretation of a personal vision of the city of Milan, a city with a secret and hidden life inside splendid buildings, buildings with incredible internal courtyards, different and unique, accessible only to a privileged few: at the centre of each carpet appears a soft rectangular silk heart that gradually transforms into more complex planimetric versions. This geometric arrangement configures a rectangular space, ready to be furnished with a free and informal configuration, a play of reliefs and depth on a flat surface. The PLANO collection presents simple designs but rich in personality, materials and execution. The MIMETICO rugs conclude the PLANO COLLECTION, as if it were a stamp. A collection of monochromatic rugs, where the only decoration is due to a play of materials and processing techniques.
